The Prompter President

Isn't he brilliant?

Great orator? He's a great reader of other people's words, but only if the Prompter is working correctly. He can't even do an introduction without his Prompter. It's like the Prompter is a power unto itself. Keeps the President from slipping up and telling the American people how he really feels. Remember "Spread the wealth around?"

US responding as if swine flu will be pandemic. Oh, really?

This is an Associated Press headline today, US responding as if swine flu will be pandemic. Nowhere in the article does it say that Obama is going to secure the border (and this is just one of many reasons this should have been done long ago) or temporarily suspend travel to and from Mexico. Right now, only a travel warning has been issued. Mexico canceled school nationwide to try to stop the spread of this deadly virus, yet our Government is preparing to act when it hits rather than take tough yet necessary measures to prevent the spread. Here's what acting director of the CDC had to say:
Dr. Richard Besser, acting director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, said that so far the disease in the United States seemed less severe than the outbreak in Mexico, where more than 1,600 cases had been reported and where the suspected death toll had climbed to 149. No deaths had been reported in the U.S, and only one hospitalization.

"I wouldn't be overly reassured by that," Besser told reporters at CDC's headquarters in Atlanta. He raised the possibility of more severe cases — and deaths — in the United States.

A travel advisory is how you respond to a pandemic? Mr. President, put the golf game lower on your priority list and temporarily close the border. After that, secure it!

Tea Party! Columbus Rocks the House!

Columbus, Ohio. April 15, 2009. Thousands converged on the Statehouse lawn in downtown Columbus to peacefully protest out of control tax policies and out of control government spending and bailouts. It was the largest protest in recent Columbus history. It seems the folks want the Constitution upheld. Fancy that!

Hundreds of people signed up for info on future events to keep the movement going.

I wonder if Obama is "aware" of the Tea Parties now.

Obama "Unaware" of Tea Parties

The White House says President Barack Hussein Obama is "unaware" of the Tea Parties. Not too bright, or willfully ignorant?
