Senator Lieberman on Supporter Frustration

October 12, 2008. Bexley, Ohio. Senator Lieberman met with McCain supporters at Cup 'O Joe's for a coffee with Joe session. I asked Senator Lieberman about McCain supporters' frustrations with McCain not seemingly willing to take the gloves off and fight. This is what he had to say.

There were about 50 people at the small coffee house in Bexley. I spoke to several supporters who were very frustrated with what they perceive as McCain's lack of willingness to "take the gloves off and fight." They expressed that frustration to Senator Lieberman in hopes that he takes the message back to McCain. Team Hillary Columbus was there in full support of John McCain. I spoke to one of the representatives and will have video later.

Update: Jamie Dixey of Team Hillary Columbus is now an avid supporter of John McCain. The group had about 400 members, many of whom are now working to get McCain elected. Dixey states that most members will never vote for Obama. She explains why.
