VJ Day-Thanks to The Greatest Generation

On August 15 (August 14 in Japan), 1945, the Japanese finally surrendered ending their brutal attempt to destroy America and the free world. Over 60 million people died in WWII and many hundreds of thousands more would have died had the United States not dropped the atom bomb. The Greatest Generation lost over 450,000 men and women during the war. More than 74,000 remain missing in action. We will never forget their sacrifices. Any time you see a Vet, be sure to stop and say thanks. It's an honor you'll never forget.
